preparing for ivf

embryoThe IVF preparation programme has been developed from clinical research protocols shown to increase circulation and blood supply to the ovaries and uterus.

Research indicates that these treatments increase circulation and blood supply to the ovaries and uterus, regulate hormones and may assist with improved egg quality and the healthy development of follicles (reference). The programme includes 8 sessions, starting 4 – 6 weeks prior to beginning your IVF cycle.

Treatments continue during IVF treatment, after egg pick-up, immediately pre & post embryo transfer.

Sometimes, an IVF can be delayed by unfavourable blood test results (e.g. elevated FSH levels). If your blood test results prevent the immediate start of a cycle, a programme of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine can be developed to significantly reduce elevated FSH levels and regulate other hormones.
